Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
Schedule: 45-hour workweek with Wednesdays and Sundays off
Business Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you an experienced Assistant Store Manager who leads from the front and wants to build a high-performing team? You will help oversee daily operations, support and develop team members, and ensure the business consistently delivers exceptional service. In the absence of senior leadership, you will confidently oversee day-to-day operations while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
You will utilize reporting tools such as POS systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office to track performance, improve profitability, and make data-informed decisions. Working closely with ownership and leadership, you will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, implementing new initiatives, and helping shape the continued success of the business.

What You'll Do
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will:
- Serve as the company's primary client-facing leader and key point of contact.
- Model, reinforce, and protect company values and culture.
- Coach and develop team members through clear expectations, feedback, and accountability.
- Lead and work alongside a team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Implement new initiatives and operational processes while creating and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Improve client retention, increase visit frequency, and encourage cross-service adoption.
- Conduct regular team meetings and contribute to quarterly performance reviews.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure productivity, quality, and consistency.
- Assist with client transactions as needed while leading by example on the sales floor.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop staff schedules that ensure proper coverage while meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize company systems, including POS, CRM, and reporting tools, to monitor performance and resolve operational or customer service issues.
- Provide daily operational reporting to ownership and leadership.
- Take full responsibility for your department's production and performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, dry cleaning, salons, fitness, automotive service, or another customer-focused service environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing employees.
- Strong background in customer-focused retail or service environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, CRM software, and other business technologies.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day operations when needed.
- Strong judgment, integrity, and an ownership mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive, motivating leadership style with a collaborative approach.
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
- Ability to provide direct, constructive feedback while setting clear expectations.
